WHY IT MATTERS
The Gibbon Conservation Center was established in 1976 by Alan Richard Mootnick. GCC houses the rarest group of apes in the Western Hemisphere and is the only institution in the world to house all four genera of gibbon. Our mission is to promote the conservation, study and care of gibbons through public education and habitat preservation. Your redemption allows us to feed our gibbons fresh ingredients such as: Apples, bananas, papayas, berries, yams, red bell peppers, green beans, carrots, broccoli, celery, cucumber, melons, lettuce, (romaine/kale/dandelion) etc.
