WHY IT MATTERS
In South Africa there is no physical education on the national curriculum. As a result the children in disadvantaged communities miss out on all the benefits of participating in sport, such has health improvements, emotional well-being and improved life skills such as team work, leadership and communication. Buying a new hockey ball will allow us to reach a further 75 children with structured hockey coaching per week.
